Rosemary Essential Oil  {Rosemarinus officinalis}

Source: Hungary     Wild harvested

Method of Extraction: Steam distilled from the flowering tops.

15 ml

The thin, pale oil has a powerful aroma that smells fresh, sweet and herbal with slightly medicinal undertones. It is considered a middle note in perfumery.

Atlas cedar wood, bay, bergamot, black pepper, chamomile, cinnamon, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense, geranium, immortelle, juniper, lavender, lemon, marjoram, myrrh, noble pine, oregano, peppermint, pink grapefruit, ravensara, red thyme, sweet basil, sweet orange, tea tree, Valerian.

Analgesic (pain-relieving), antispasmodic and nervine properties make rosemary an effective addition to massage blends and topical treatments for arthritis and rheumatism pain. Cleansing, antimicrobial and anti-fungal, it helps combat dandruff, hair loss and dull skin. Rosemary is excellent in diffuser blends to banish sickness and in healing salves.

Inhale directly or diffuse to stimulate the senses, combat mental fatigue, remain focused and alert while driving and studying and for easing the mental fog caused by hangovers.

Avoid while pregnant and with epilepsy and hypertension. Dilute! May cause skin irritation - do a patch test before using.

As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier oil).
